# Account settings

> Update your profile, email address and password.

Open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar and choose **Account**.

## Profile

Your name and company details. These are for your own reference in the dashboard and are not shown to buyers — what appears in a Visit is your [logo](/customize/style-editor) and the copy you write.

## Email address

Changing your email requires your **current password**, since the address is also your login. After saving, use the new address to sign in.

  Password resets go to the address on file. Make sure you can receive mail at the new one before you change it.

## Password

Enter your current password, then the new one twice. You stay signed in on this device after changing it.

Forgot it? Sign out and use **Forgot password** on the login screen — a reset link is emailed to you.

## Plan

Your current plan is shown in the account menu. See [Plans](/account/plans) for what Free and Pro include.

## Signing out

The account menu at the bottom of the sidebar has **Sign out**. Do this on any shared or client-facing machine.

## Deleting your account

Email [support@planpoint.io](mailto:support@planpoint.io) and we will remove your account and its data. Export anything you want to keep first — deletion removes the properties, their media and their analytics history, and published links stop working.
