# FAQ

> Quick answers to the questions we get most often.

## Getting started

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="How long does it take to build a Visit?">
    A first property, with photos and plans ready, takes about half an hour. Once you know the flow, 15 minutes is realistic. Tracing floor outlines and room polygons is the bulk of it.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What do I need before I start?">
    An exterior photo, a floor plan image per floor, and a photo per room. Everything else can be added later.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Do I need floor plans?">
    Yes — the floor plan is what rooms are traced onto. Without one, a floor has nothing for visitors to click.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I duplicate a property?">
    Yes. Duplicating is the fastest way to handle several units of the same layout: copy, then swap the photos and the details.
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>

## Building

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="How many rooms can a property have?">
    There is no limit. Very large properties are easier to browse with a 2-column [room grid](/customize/style-editor).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Do I have to trace every room?">
    No, but untraced rooms cannot be clicked on the plan — visitors reach them only from the room list. Trace at least the rooms that sell the property.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What are viewpoints for?">
    They show *where the photographer stood* and *which way they faced*, so a visitor can orient a photo on the plan. See [Viewpoints](/build/viewpoints).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I reorder rooms?">
    Rooms follow the floor they are assigned to, and within a floor you control the order in the room list.
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>

## Sharing

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Is my Visit public?">
    It is reachable by anyone with the link, but the default slug is random and unguessable, and Visits are not submitted to search engines.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I change the URL after sharing it?">
    You can, but the old link stops working. Decide before you distribute it. Legacy `/v/<slug>` links keep redirecting.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Does the embed slow my site down?">
    The Visit loads inside the iframe, independently of your page, so it does not block your own content.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How do I take a Visit down?">
    Mark the property as **sold** for a sold badge, or delete it from the danger zone in [Details](/build/details).
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>

## Features

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Does AI Reimagine change my photos?">
    No. Results are temporary and personal to the visitor who generated them. Your originals are untouched.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I see what a visitor built in the floor plan editor?">
    No. Their layout is stored in their own browser only.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Are translations automatic?">
    Interface labels are already translated. Your own text — descriptions, room names, hotspots — you translate in the [Translations](/features/languages) tab, with English as the fallback.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Which features need Pro?">
    Custom URL, brand logo, contact form and analytics. See [Plans](/account/plans).
  </Accordion>
